Automatic Tactics option

Post by Alexander »

While the recent restrictions on tactics are completely understandable, I would like to request an option to automatically change tactics to whatever is required to perform the action in question. For instance, attempting a charge from Tactics Block would automatically switch you to Tactics None with this option enabled.

Yes, please. This is how it was until the most recent changes. I understand the restrictions, but the automatic switching was very, very nice.

This is what I was going to do, but somebody said it would be terrible.

If it does happen, it will add 3 seconds of RT for those without tactics mastery if that makes a difference.

wait, 3 plus the 3 to normally change or just 3 RT? So without tactics mastery you would take 6 RT to automatically switch but with it you would still require no RT? that doesn't make sense, why doesn't automatic tactic switching just cost the normal three or the mastery nothing.

She meant that it will cost the usual 3 roundtime even though it's automatic, not that there would be an extra 3 as some kind of penalty.
The lore compels me!

ohhh, then that makes perfect sense, it would be just as if you typed it except you didn't type it so i don't see what the problem is?
