One broken part of the economy is richly illustrated as follows:
Eli takes the misshapen copper nail and pays you 3 riln for it, then tosses the item in a bin for resale.
Eli takes the average steel greatsword blade and pays you 8 riln for it, then tosses the item in a bin for resale.
I think it should be something like '80' riln for the blade, if the misshapen nail is 3 riln, no ?

The broken part is that someone is buying a misshapen copper nail at all, in my opinion. I'd question buying a nonfunctional item like a greatsword blade as well, unless the buyer is a blacksmith who has an immediate need and is going to make the blade into a complete sword.

Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and numbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares fall from me - I am happy.
