Guildpoints from combat

Is it possible to get Wyrvardn guildpoints from successful combat strikes? Given that they are a combat guild, it seems to make sense as compared to other similar guilds (Udemi, Utasa, Claws of Shar, Brotherhood of the Fist, Haarbingers, Dwaedn Wyr,), etc)? Even the Elemancers and Rooks get guildpoints from successful casts...
