Gathering Spots!

Per the changelog: A new "gathering spot" room flag has been added. Positive morale will not gradually decrease over time for characters in these rooms.

This is admittedly more of a meta mechanic intended to encourage players to gather and hang out together in public spots, hopefully resulting in more frequent interaction and randomly bumping into others to RP with. To that point, it wouldn't be very effective if there were too many of these places. It also would defeat the purpose if it was added to private/restricted areas like inn rooms, player homes, guild areas, and so on, so those definitely won't be happening.

Current gathering spots include:

- Shadgard Town Commons
- Hearth & Home Inn, Common Room
- Twin Dagger Tavern
- Corvus Outpost Courtyard Center
- Murky's Pub
- Tiodor's Bar (yes it's not currently accessible and yes it'll be impractical even when it becomes accessible again but it was too good to pass up)

Feel free to suggest a few others, bug again: If there are too many of them, it dilutes the chances of people bumping into each other and defeats the purpose of the idea!

I'm quite surprised anywhere in Hanged Man doesn't make the list, as well as the inn in Dwaedn ville. Everyone loves those two places.

And omg I miss that baaaaar! There's everything to love there, except the drinks because I don't drink lol.

I considered the Hanged Man, but it felt like that might be too many around Shadgard. Might become one sometime!

Good call on the Grizzly Den, it's now a Gathering Spot.

Another one: the roasting pit in Morhollow.
Someone also suggested the tree house. I'm not sure, but dropping it here too.

There might be others I can't think of right now. I think that's it for my list.

The Treehouse - since it's a relative "safe" ground for Corvus and Shadgard meetings.

A few of the nicer places around the wilds, the ones with firepits, benches and the like would be good ones for those who are out and about or can't otherwise partake in these spots.

Hmmm. I'm hesitant to add any more to areas outside Shadgard and Corvus for now, as the point is to get people generally in the same place and bumping into one another. Giving options scattered across the wilderness seems to run pretty counter to that goal. Dwaedn Vil and Tiodor's are both inconvenient enough to get to that I think they'll be great for specific organized occasions but not be a temptation for routinely idling somewhere away from population centers.

The roasting Pit might not be a bad idea. With haiben and mistral inaccessible, that location defaults to the last bit of civilization one can get to in that area. It also holds the Wyrvardns, and I'm just a sucker for kebabs.

The Mummer's camp maybe? It gets used common enough for events, performances and a spot people go to heal when they don't feel like making the full trip back to Shadgard/Corvus. Though, I'm starting to understand the concern you have about having too many of these.

I see Shadgard has three spots. For Corvus, may I suggest the not evil meeting hall near the bank? When we have more people around, people do hold gatherings there since it has the fancy chairs.

The cafeteria/mess hall in the Udemi chapter house might be another fair consideration.

That's guild restricted room. No one can enter there but Tse Gaiyan, so probably not ideal.
