Raw chunks of gemstone can now be either FACETed or POLISHed.
There are various styles you can facet a gemstone into. Polishing a gemstone will attempt to create a simple cabochon.
This will greatly increase the worth of your gems, though, how skilled you are in Lapidary will play a serious role in how successful this may or may not be.
The commands to get started are GEM FACET {style} or GEM POLISH
There are few requirements:
1: You must be holding a raw chunk of gemstone.
- Not all gemstones can be faceted, but all can be polished.
2:You must be in an appropriate workshop.
- A lean-to in the mine entrance may be worth exploring.
3: If you wish to facet a gem, you will need to be holding a chisel.
- These are now for sale at the blacksmith shop in Shadgard.
