Fishing Update!

Post by Landion »

New fish types are now available to be caught at the pier and other future fishing locations.

Some are more valuable than others, and some are more difficult to catch!

Enjoy!

I was merrily fishing today, and an idea occurred to me! Fishing is fun, and fishing with friends is even more fun. Fishing competitions are AWESOME!

Fish should have a variable size (depending on your roll, luck, and their type) and you should be able to see that when you look at a fish. Maybe a 3 foot catfish giant is worth more than a 1 foot catfish, too. Maybe suckerfish only grow to a foot max. I think it'd be pretty cool.

Also, you should be able to sell cooked (and spiced cooked) fish in the market!

Speaking to a slimy big-lipped collinsfish, Collins says, "Go away."

Hehe, you must be something of a telepath. I actually just gave Rias a big long research report on different fish types with average sizes. (Yeah, catfish get huuuuuuge!)

So, hopefully we'll be seeing fish of various size and worth soon!

Also, selling the cooked fish for more is a good idea.

Yep, we've been brainstorming about all sorts of fishing stuff, including competitions and displayed records for catching the largest fish. Guess we're on the same wavelength.
The lore compels me!
