Alea is willing to accept other mounts as partial payment for what she has, but you'll have to talk to her about it.

She's let word spread that they'll be in the area for only a few days before continuing south.

She also may be around to add decoration to your mount if you ask her really nicely (and bring riln).

These guys will be moving south today, although they'll probably still be on the road in our game area. If you want to buy a horse, you'll need to do so today or tomorrow.

Oh. When is this merchant usually around? Wandered around p north for a it and couldn't find any new shops or merchants.

They aren't necessarily in the north part of the playable lands. That just meant they were south of the playable area.
