Because mounts are expensive and rather frail at the moment (with no options for armor), they will return to the stables upon death. This is a temporary measure until I can figure out a better way to deal with losing mounts, but at least now they might possibly get some use, with people knowing they won't lose them forever after a few powerful hits to a vital area.

So, if your mount dies, go to the Shadgard stable where you can check to find it and retrieve it from the stables. It'll be exhausted and need to rest up a bit, but otherwise good to go.
