Unfortunately, Rithiel understands the forces of supply and demand and therefore knows:

1) An exogenous increase in supply decreases prices.

2) An exogenous decrease in market size (because, say, some people aren't allowed to have steel or iron in the homes) leads to a decrease in price.

Exactly. A better plan is to leave it outside a front door so it's not actually in a home.

Bumping this because there's some information from last year.

With the exception of the auction items, nothing in the festival is safe from the janitor. Keep this in mind when you're looking at shop items.
