Dreq is a long-time friend of mine that has been brought on board to work with a special project which we're not really ready to announce yet, but as he's a new green name on the BBS, I thought it better to list him on the guru list now rather than have a bunch of speculation and rumors.

This is really late, and I'm sorry for not pointing it out sooner, but Mirazia has transitioned from builder to Event Support and will be helping to make awesome and fun things happen in CLOK, yay!

Also, older news, but Dreq is extremely busy working on other (paying) projects, so we're probably not going to be seeing a CLOK 2 from him. We will continue to optimize and improve CLOK as it grows though.

Mirazia has been promoted to a GameMaster position and will be taking over as Harbingers of Aranas guru. Thanks for all your hard work, Mirazia.

I realize it's been a long time since I've updated this, as it still had names like Hayl, Lassyn, Vestyn and Elyria on it who have been inactive on the project for quite awhile now. Also, Mirazia and Velrath will no longer be GMing with us.

We are currently looking into the possibility of bringing new event staff and builders on board, but I feel that the GM side of the curtain is best to remain closed, as there's frequently "too many cooks" in the kitchen, and once someone is exposed to GM life, it can greatly hinder their ability to enjoy the game as a regular player characters.

Loona's been with us for over half a year and I never added him to the list... whoops.

I've also added Sideri, yay for new event staff!

The GURU command in-game has also been updated.

(TL;DR: It's just me at the moment.)

This reawakened CLOK project has been going for a bit now and nothing has exploded, so I think we can claim it's all officially official!

Some people have been confused by the combination of the non-functioning GURU command and the outdated visible roles on Discord and the BBS. The in-game GURU (or GM) command works again to show a list of the game's current GameMasters, and the mentioned outdated Discord/BBS roles have been cleaned up.

To clarify: Thus far it has been and currently is just myself working on this from the developmernt/GM side. I've conferred and consulted with various past GMs on things, but when it comes to actual development, coding, and in-game GMing/events, it's just me at the moment. I don't plan to go solo for too much longer, but I thought it best to not have multiple cooks in the kitchen at the start, and I honestly just wanted some time on my own to test the waters and see how things went.

I'll also take this opportunity to note to past GMs that some of the background "deep lore" has evolved, so those old GMchat comments or GM BBS posts you might have stumbled upon that contained some juicy behind-the-scenes lore information may well no longer be accurate! Unlearn what you have learned, free yourselves from the burden of forbidden knowledge, and face the world with renewed speculative wonder!

A team is finally coming together: We've got Noctere, Shewel, and Sideri as GMs! More may join in the next little while, but I didn't want to wait too long before officially announcing these three who some people have noticed showing as GMs in the WHO list. They're also listed in the GM (or GURU) command, and on that subject: Note that roles listed in the GM (or GURU) command are not restrictive, they're just listing that GM's focus. Technical GMs may get involved in events, and Event GMs may get involved in technical stuff.
