We've turned the in-game chat channel back on for the time being. While I'm still not the biggest fan of having this feature in-game and think the IRC channel worked well, It's our hope that having the chat channel in-game will help our community get a little closer and stay together better.
The Karma command no longer works for players and is essentially now a tool for GMs to temporarily silence particular troublemakers, so there shouldn't be that whole ball of drama anymore.
Please try to keep things civil and mature on the chat channel so we don't end up just having to turn it right back off. Also please remember to not use the chat channel for communicating things that should be communicated via IC means like ESP. Chat may occasionally be switched back off during special events when we want people focusing on what's going on in-game without OOC chatter cheapening or distracting from the experience.
As always, players can choose to ignore the OOC channel by toggling on option ignorechat in-game.

And players can also choose to ignore the person they don't like seeing on ooc - for example, Ignore Kent is a slendid substitute for karma - kent.Rias wrote: As always, players can choose to ignore the OOC channel by toggling on option ignorechat in-game.
