Construction Projects and Donations

Those interested in helping Haiban may wish to check out the new room to the north in the warehouse on the south road. You may use the donate command there to donate items for Haiban. Further detials can be found on the town board and the sign in the new room.

Donations are being tracked and monitored, and while there is no built in mechanic for rewards, Coalition members who make exceptional donations may be recognized in some form.

Monetary donations can be npcmailed directly to Locke.

Would there happen to be any requirements on quality if, say, weapons were donated? ie would average be acceptable.

Not really sure how weapons would help with construction efforts, but hey I'm not Haiben lol.

Horsehoes, weapons, and armor are for outfitting the guards and Ebon Pass patrollers.

will it be tracked correctly if we donate in a container? like a chest of nails?

Yup.

basically, anything donated gets moved to the floor of a janitor proof room (That players can't reach) and has your name added to a special variable on the item so I can look it up, as well as generating an event log entry. In the event log we'll just see "Sona just donated a chest to the Haiban construciton project.", but when a GM actually goes to that room and sees the chest, after they look inside they can examine the properties of the chest itself to see who donated it.

You can only donate stuff from your hands though, so no extra large/heavy items like logs or water barrels.

Yes, but fortunately the bottom floor of the warehouse is wagon-friendly!

Locke's office, up the stairs on the second floor, is NOT. I just recently noticed that and added the no mounts tag to it after seeing someone bringing their wagon in there. Whoops!

You may donate directly all contents from a handcart or wagon. Note this is an ALL or nothing method, so make sure you don't have anything in the wagon you want to keep (It will give you a list and ask you to confirm).
