Improvised bandages

Post by Vitello »

An ability I would like to see is a way for bushcrafters and perhaps Udemi/druids is the ability to craft bandages from natural matter and forage. Being secluded from normal society normal bandages aren't always an option. Moss and sap perhaps?

Requirements
Herbalism:?
Firstaid: ?

Not very sanitary. Perhaps one could use leaves of sufficiently large herbs and apply those directly? Or you know, you could skin one of your kills, clean the skin and cut it into strips and use those to tie on a large leaf and poultice. You could use sinew as well.

It doesn't hve to be clay, per say. Mud has properties that help heal wounds and other things like bee stings and snake bites. If not completely heal, mud can seal the wound or bite long enough to get to an infirmary.

Not very sanitary, so use a leaf! You crack me up.

Anyways, I'm resurrecting this dead topic because I would love to see this. Mud/clay/sinew/whatever I just want to see unique wilderness bandages that only certain guilds can craft. Maybe make the health regen 1/2 normal or something but do it please!

Bushcraft First Aid is one of the generalized abilities slated to be released.
The lore compels me!

Was this idea still planning on being implemented?

Bumping an old topic where bushcraft: first aid was discussed as a potential ability. I think it'd be really cool, any updates on this?
