An arrow to much work

It is just way too much to do in addition to all the other things required to get into Snowpine. My character doesn't use a bow, so doesn't need arrows or get any benefit from the rapid fire ability in the guild. Stone spear should be an alternative.

This isn't a task to make stuff that you'll then go and use personally. The Lodge just wants to see if you've got the knack for this kind of thing, and to see if you've got the commitment to proving yourself before they let you join. Arrows are a good part of this "test" because they require several different components and, as you noticed, some "work" to complete.

TL;DR: It's a test for you to prove yourself. It's supposed to take work.
