The guy logged off shortly after I died and before I could send this, so I'm posting it here:
nominate ***** One: I love a good fight. Two: He's RPing his faction and isn't afraid to act on it. Nice.
So what happened? First, for all of you would-be explorers who like to go where you probably shouldn't be, this isn't a good idea:
You think to yourself, "It feels good to be exploring again. Even in this dangerous place."
Because this might happen:
[Mountains, Steps] (OutWldMtRk) [subalpine] Chilly, Overcast, Light Breeze
The spine provides an expansive view of the surrounding wilderness to the north. Far in the distance you can make out the blue waters of a lake. Below you, the crest cuts downward, several jagged
crevices in the rock allowing passage. The area consists of subalpine wilderness.
The area is mostly quiet.
Also here: a mountain lion (hiding).
Obvious paths: down, southwest.

EHEngBd>
You hear a muffled male voice say, "Someone's forgotten how to read."

Your hiding spot is revealed by the action!
A maple broadhead arrow streaks toward you! (!) (R:*** vs D:**)
16 pierce damage -- to the chest, greatly deflected by an exquisite steel breastplate.

A mountain lion springs from hiding to attack!
A mountain lion claws at you! (M:725 vs D:*** P:***)
Dodged!
A mountain lion claws at you! (M:725 vs D:*** P:***)
Dodged!
And he might do this:
[scrubbed]
But if that isn't enough for you, this might happen:
[scrubbed]
Confused the hell out of me that the [scrubbed] showed up green which would usually mean friendly. But clearly that was an error, because then this happened:
[scrubbed]
And this:
[scrubbed]
But after everything was said and done:
[ESP-GRAY - Brass]: Hehehe... I just wish I got a good look at that [scrubbed]. Spoiled what could have been an interesting fight.
Seriously though, I tried to 'look [scrubbed]' at a couple points but had poor timing and that makes me sad. I would have loved to have seen that desc. Maybe a kind GM will share it with me? I would think I got a decent look at it when it ran me over.

Otherwise, that was the most fun I've ever had getting stomped.

I realize it's a bit late, but I scrubbed a lot from the previous log, as it OOC-ly and widely displayed some things that people have tried hard to keep unknown except when needed.

Your character is free to publicly share and proclaim what happened in-game, of course, but as is the case with Thieves and Claw of Shar, I'd prefer details of abilities used by secretive organizations weren't showcased via an OOC medium.
