Haiban Dance

Post by Orris »

This was really fun! It was nice to watch people dance, to participate in the dancing a little myself, and meet a few new people. Orris got dressed up and actually danced, so that was an achievement for the GMs.

I'd like to thank everyone who made these emotes possible. Google documents for spell check (because I did them ON THE SPOT). God. My family. Gabriel Garcia Marquez for introducing me to magical realism. And Lars for playing the role of Patrick Swayze.

But really, gala was amazing. Thank you GMs for a wonderful fancy event! I hope that there will be more in the future. And thanks to everyone who came and was dressed up. =) Good on you!

I'd love to put in my thanks in the pot to the GM's who did a wonderful job with the coalition as well as the gala event. It was too bad more people didn't go, and too bad more people didn't mix andmingle, but to each their own. It was a great opportunity for us to let our hair down a bit roleplay-wise.
Here's to more good fun in the future! :)

The events surrounding the Coalition, Haiben, the Gala were so much fun.
I'm sorry I wasn't more active on the night of the dance. RL stuff made it very hard to actually RP. But it was fun to look at everyone decked out and roleplaying together. Good stuff.
I definitely vote for more events in the future, casual, formal, or somewhere in between.

I am very sorry to have missed this. More events of a social nature would be most welcome. I greatly enjoy a good battle or attack event, but social events most definitely have a place as well.
