On Suggesting Aura Colours

I had never requested an aura colour on cogg before, so I am unsure how people went about doing that. Were these usually handled through email? Would some sort of in-game system through which we can request new ones be easier to manage?

I also remember people having to request their colours again, if they were inactive long enough for them to lose it. Asuming the same system will be used in this game, could you explain why that would happen and whether characters will still need to do that?
