arrow deflection and hurled weapons

Hi!

I am cluttering the forums with a suggestion again, but hopefully this one is not so long. Arrow deflection can slap away arrows and stones from bows and slings: it seems maybe feasible it could similarly deflect small thrown weapons, like knives of varying lethality, hurled stones, snowballs, darts, or pies? Admittedly, the inspiration for this suggestion is because it seems particularly odd that stones slung by slings can be caught, but the same stone when thrown by hand cannot be. Also, it seems not to work ever when the target is firing from stealth, but if this is intended, it is perfectly reasonable. Maybe it could be renamed to unarmed combat: projectile deflection, if the concern is about the name being so specific.
IN summary: could arrow deflection deflect a few more things, some of them useful, others mostly for fun and needless fanciness?

Thank you,
-Alila

Yes, because who wouldn't want to look awesome smacking a pie out of the air as it flies towards you!

Hi,

Seeing as the forums have been somewhat more active recently, I was hoping to poke this thread a little?
While there are more details and considerations in the original post, would it be possible for arrow deflection to deflect light hurled weapons like stones or knives or potatoes, please? Stones can even be deflected when slung; it seems a little arbitrary they could not be when merely thrown.

Thank you!
