Having a girl moment here, but would it be possible to make it so hair-worn items can be worn while you're wearing any kind of head armor? I understand why that might be required in real life for things like clips or sticks which would be too big, but things that just tie up in a ponytail should be able to fit under a helm easily enough and not interfere. And it would just be a lot easier to manage appearance and armor if characters didn't have to constantly re-apply a hairclip any time they took their helmet off. Obviously this is not a big priority, but it would be nice to have considered.

As a man who plays a character with an epic braid, I’d appreciate this too.

Hair is a cultural thing. Even having bobby pins for under helmets would make Chione so so happy.

I'm pretty sure if you put the helmet on and then the hairstyle, it should work. Least it did with mine in the past. It's either hair clip then helm, or helm then hair clip. Protip.
