It would be very cool if post workers could provide some indication of how long ago a message/item was sent. Example:

"We received this letter for you from <charname> a day/about two days/about 3 weeks/etc ago."

That would be super handy. After not having that info a few times I just added my email with the email command and turned on option 9 (option mailnotify). Then even if my character has no clue when it was sent, at least I as the player do.
