May we have digging back please

Post by xavier »

So I completely get making logging, mining, fishing, and all that require an ability. I am in no way criticizes that change. I have however encountered several things where simple digging has gotten in the way of progressing an activity I was trying to do. Could digging perhaps be modified so that anyone could dig, but unless you have the apprentice of the land ability you cannot get skill gains in mining.

I have to agree with Xavier...it's quite anti-rp to require a special ability to use a spade to move dirt.

Maybe without the proper skill, you trigger cave ins way more often than normal because you don't know what you're doing.

you may be thinking of mining. Digging doesn't cause cave ins as far as I've ever seen. It's used for clearing cave ins.
