Skill cap 'area' and free for all area

Maybe to complex, or to much demand given the current workload on staff but....
Why not have an area of the game capped at 2500, that area is where all the events and major storyline takes place. Then have a separate area where you can pass the cap and climb unlimited, the moment you cross back though you're softcapped back to 2500.

The skill cap should be over 9000.

Vitello, There is already such a separate area in existence. I often refer to it as "another MUD".

But seriously, if such an area existed within CLOK, what good would it be to anyone?

I understand your suggestion and, while I think it's an interesting concept, I don't really feel that it would fit with the spirit of CLOK. I'm trying my hardest to make CLOK not about grinding numbers. That's why we just recently made the grind so much less significant.
IF it ever happened (which it probably won't), it'd be many years down the road. There's so much awesome content we can add for the 0 to 2500 range.
