Pay/Giving Riln to NPCs

I don't suppose it would be possible to put a little warning in when giving NPCs riln?
I'm not sure about anyone else, but I know when I first started I might have accidentally given NPCs money instead of paying them. Something that could just help prevent that...
give NPC 500..
(Are you sure you didn't mean to PAY the NPC? Type give NPC 500 confirm if you simply want to give them the riln)
Or something like that.

I think NPC's refuse items when you give them, for the sake of newbies I think they should refuse riln too.
Oddly enough, it seems while the infirmary healer accepts your riln, a number of GM-controlled NPC's mechanically are unable to be given riln (you have to drop it for them to pick up).
Any way to make it vice versa?

The whole reason I brought it up Kent, was that some new player had just given their riln to a NPC instead of paying. So. It does happen.

Dorn, I don't think my post means what you think it means.

Agreed, we need a warning when you're about to give an NPC some riln (And we need to make sure you can give riln to an NPC that is being possessed by a GM). On the list.

Done!
[Jirato's Testing Chambers](GM ROOM) (purchase orders) { gm_jirato | jirato | gm | JANITORPROOF! } (InUr)
Many brightly lit corridors converge in this cold metallic hub like the spokes on a wheel. A faint humming can be heard overhead. Evenly spaced bright white circular lights lay flush with the plain metal ceiling. Small rounded openings covered by grating barely large enough for a child's hand to fit through are spread also out evenly, but in a much sparser fashion.
There is a thin cloud of fog here. The area is mostly quiet.
You also notice an infirmary, an exit, a glowing blue portal, a dark and lonely corner, a mercenary job board, a mystical auction holding bag, a jeweled pedestal with a mighty eggplant staff on it, a GM trash barrel, an exquisite oak cask, an Event Staff Uyoku action figure, a deep green holly wreath (hanging on the wall), an alder staff, an executioner's sword, a felled hickory tree and a weatherbeaten spruce lockbox (closed).
Also here: the Mistral Lake Fairy and Otarij.
Obvious exits: west, north, east, southeast, south, southwest.
