Making a spear head requires 4 pounds of metal...the same as a falchion or longsword blade.
Would you be willing to reconsider this? A more realistic weight would be 2 pounds, the same as a shortsword. I could envision a rudimentary spear made by lashing a dagger to a shaft, but asking for 1 pound seems too far. How about 2 pounds for spear and javelin, please?

Making spear head required only moments and no metal to start... however the training time and resources that went into his character development were far more extensive. Makkah, care to comment?
