well-crafted stone tools

Knapping was changed to only ever output up to average pieces a while ago, I believe, but I'd like to request to be able to make well-crafted tools at least, and perhaps set a higher skill ceiling for it. I know that people making tons of masterworks was an issue in the past, but I believe that even stone-tools can be considered well-crafted with enough skill.

Along the same vein of things, the ability to polish a stone tool with another stone would also be greatly appreciated. Ever since the neolithic period, even stone tools were polished to increase its mechanical strength and increase the life of the tool.
During the Neolithic period, large axes were made from flint nodules by chipping a rough shape, a so-called "rough-out". Such products were traded across a wide area. The rough-outs were then polished to give the surface a fine finish to create the axe head. Polishing not only increased the final strength of the product but also meant that the head could penetrate wood more easily.
Instead of straight up being allowed to craft well-crafted stone tools, you could optionally also allow a later step in the knapping process to attempt to raise the quality of the resulting tool using abrasives such as sand, or pumice.
