I'm sure this is probably buried somewhere, as a request from someone else, but could we please make it so that any player can just dig mines wherever, make it so they only last a day or two before needing to be re-dug out.

Also, I'm pretty sure they really dislike player mines as it is, much less the ability to just randomly dig them out anywhere on the map.

I dunno, it's sort of been put off for a long time I think as "when we revamp the mining system, we'll get to tackling mining." It's just been a thing on the list for a long while (Years?), so I figure it could use a reminder every once in awhile.

Good idea. I should probably bump one of my old threads as a reminder, too.
