Gambling House Suggestions

I'm fairly excited about the gambling house that's in development. Here are some things that would make it really great:

1) Multi-player games (e.g. poker)
Playing games against the house (such as roulette and simliar) can be fun, but I think that some games that involve multiple characters would lead to some interesting RP. The house could charge a flat fee per head, or take a percentage of the pots.

2) Games with a skill element (e.g. blackjack)
100% chance games are really the player against a random number generator. Games where a player can play well or poorly are far more interesting, and I'd love it if we had some of them!

3) Comps for Whales
If someone loses a ton of money at a casino they get treated like a king. It might be neat if there was some scripted stuff where big betting players were given food, drinks, and maybe even special prizes of sorts.

4) Mummer performances
It'd be a nice touch if there was a tricky but high paying venue for mummer performances, both to NPC and player audiences.

And dice games. Tons of dice games. I'm talking shut-the-box, liar's dice, craps, cee-lo, tripps, bunco, cho-han, kitsune bakuchi, and Catan dice (OK, maybe not that one).

You can never have too many dice games.

I have a dream of a D&D style dice game in CLOK but they adventure in a world with metal horses, and esp pendants they have to hold to their heads.

I would love to see a fighting room/cage in the gambling house. Maybe just allow unarmed brawling or wooden weapons for person vs. person matches. Possibly allow more serious weapons for person vs. exotic creature fights (because druids need another reason to get mad).

I love this idea. Maybe have it mostly do npc vs npc fights, with occasional pcs joining in when they sign up.

I would love it if there was an auctioning house, with commands for auctioneers to be able to take bids and things. Since we're obviously making this den of sin. :P Artisans will flock to auction off goods. Ha. Anyways Liars dice would be good.

Only if you're gambling though...

Honestly. I just want to see a way for Jaster to try and cheat, then get led away to have his arms broken.
