Carpentry 'finish/detail' work options

Hey, I asked on chat if we can detail carpentry items instead of just having <Quality> <Material> <Item> and was told we can't. Since we do have these options for smithing and leatherwork, I thought it'd be nice to suggest adding similar things for woodwork. Maybe the players can suggest some variants for design options? styles of beds, elegant scrollwork, and so forth.

It could be similar to jcraft where there is a design and an etching. Examples are as follows:

Designs:
heavy, rustic, gleaming, shiny

Etchings:
with scrollwork around the edges, carved with suns, carved with moons, with small symbols carved over the wood

Just my two cents. :)

Yes! Give us reasons to buy furniture from Artisans over shopkeepers. All they've got going for them right now is item quality and material variety.

Another thing I forgot is to have the ability to make things like knobs and drawer pulls via forging. It could be like adding gems to jewelry, but for carpentry instead.

Hey, if this gets done, I at least want carved flatbows and staffs to get this ability too. I want my high-quality bows (once I can make them) to be beautiful and amazing, not just "Yup, that's a wooden bow alright."

Barius, I think that is the first post I have ever actually laughed out loud at.
