Could you make it so that the patterns you're channelling show up on either the status prompt or the effect window? I'd really appreciate a way to tell what I have up!

They should be showing up in the status prompt already
(ppg) shows that you're channeling pyromancy, pyromancy, and geomancy
Avd shows that you're in position avoid.

I'm actually referring to things like the compression pattern, rather then the raw elements themselves.

if you type channel, it will give you all of that information as well!

Could we also add release shield to stop channeling a shield pattern without having to release the element?

Prompt should now show if you've got the Compression Pattern active.
You can now release shield to stop channeling the shield pattern and still maintain your elemental channel.
