Hi all,
I'm a description minimalist when it comes to my character. I feel like between small phone screens, screen readers, and just plain old skimming paragraphs, every adjective and noun of my character description should help describe them or their attire in a significant way. I love beautiful items and some of the descriptive text, but the clutter gets to me!
Keychains don't convey much information to others. They all look similar, are small compared to most described items, and can't be stolen. Could they be hideable, or not show up in descriptions at all? Obviously they'd still show up when they're actually used. This would be kind of equivalent to how pendants are hideable.
Example:
>pull key
"You wrap an iron keychain behind your belt."

I like this idea. :)
