We have <wave> for waving and <greet> for nodding, so can we please get a verb for tipping our hats?

And I almost forgot: Being able to <doff> our hats would also be cool.
The difference between a mere tip of the hat and doffing the hat was one of the ways of signaling and respecting social status.
