Bandolier functionality

So I ordered a bandolier in game and received it, and it seems kind of lacking in functionality right now. You can't barrage with hurled weapons, so I was hoping that the bandolier would add something like that to hurling. However, after playing around with the bandolier, I noticed that you can't barrage out of a bandolier, you can't gather knives to return to a bandolier, and you can't transfer knives from the ground to a bandolier.

So with the way it stands now, bandoliers appear to be a very RP-oriented item. Is there plans to increase bandolier functionality, such as allowing the person to barrage out of a bandolier?

There are plans to improve hurling usability overall, which will include using containers like bandoliers. Not high on the list, though, sadly.

I just found the throwing knives, in the Mummer Camp. I'd be very interested in seeing a functioning bandolier for them.

It's not completely polished, and no barrage-like capability yet, but:
hurl
You must be holding something to hurl.

weapon
You have the following weapons on you:

a copper knife (in a canvas satchel) (undamaged)
a large stone (in a leather belt pouch) (undamaged)
a small stone (in a leather belt pouch) (undamaged) (x2)
a copper hatchet (in a canvas backpack) (undamaged)

get hatch
You remove a copper hatchet from the canvas backpack you are wearing.

hurl set
You will now auto-hurl a copper hatchet.

stow hat
You put a copper hatchet into your canvas backpack.

get knife
You remove a copper knife from the canvas satchel you are wearing.

hurl set
You will now auto-hurl a copper knife.

stash knife
You put a copper knife into your canvas satchel.

get lar stone
You remove a large stone from the leather belt pouch you are wearing.

hurl set
You will now auto-hurl a large stone.

put stone in pouch
You put a large stone in the leather belt pouch that you are wearing.

weapons
You have the following weapons on you:

a copper knife (in a canvas satchel) (undamaged) (auto-hurl)
a small stone (in a leather belt pouch) (undamaged) (x2)
a large stone (in a leather belt pouch) (undamaged) (auto-hurl)
a copper hatchet (in a canvas backpack) (undamaged) (auto-hurl)

hurl
You retrieve a copper knife from your satchel and hurl it at a creepy undying clown!!
A copper knife hurtles toward a creepy undying clown! (R:25099 vs D:100)
16 pierce damage to the right arm!
Roundtime: 2 seconds.

A creepy undying clown removes some ammo that was lodged into his body and drops it.

hurl
(energy -4)
You retrieve a large stone from your pouch and hurl it at a creepy undying clown!!
A large stone hurtles toward a creepy undying clown! (R:17569 vs D:100)
29 crush damage to the right leg!
A large stone falls to the ground.
Roundtime: 3 seconds.

hurl
(energy -5)
You retrieve a copper hatchet from your backpack and hurl it at a creepy undying clown!!
A copper hatchet hurtles toward a creepy undying clown! (R:25099 vs D:100)
5 hack damage to the head!
Roundtime: 2 seconds.

You say, "I don't want to potentially lose my hatchet though."

You pick up a copper hatchet.

hurl set
You will no longer auto-hurl a copper hatchet.
Working on barrage equivalent for hurling now that this is set up.

gather can now target weapons on the ground that you've set to auto-hurl.

gather hurled can be used to gather ALL weapons on the ground that a character has set to auto-hurl. This means it won't gather hurlable items if you haven't set them to auto-hurl at some point.
