Some way to lead your horse

It would be very convenient to have some command that would cause your mount to follow you without actually riding it. There are times when I want to bring my horse with me, but not to be atop it - for example, when tracking or foraging or some such.

GMs have said this is on the to-do list, but it isn't high priority.

You know what? Fine. JUST FINE.
You dismount from your chestnut horse.

lead horse
You start leading a chestnut horse.

[OFFDUTY]EAvd>
w
You head west.

[somewhere] (OOC) (shop)
You notice nothing unusual.
The area is completely silent.
Obvious exits: east.

You are followed by a chestnut horse.
It's hacky and clunky and likely buggy AND WILL PROBABLY CRASH THE SERVER. NOW WILL YOU PEOPLE STOP BOTHERING ME ABOUT IT?!

Notes:
- You can JOIN someone, then LEAD your mount, and it will follow the person you joined.
- Your mount should not follow a leader if you are no longer in that leader's group for some reason.
- If you leave a group you were in that your mount was in as well, you'll need to lead you horse again to get it into your group again to follow you.
- If your mount starts duplicating due to a bug, STOP DOING WHATEVER YOU DID AND REPORT IT!
- Any other bugs related to this nonsense? SEE PREVIOUS NOTE'S INSTRUCTIONS!
- If this somehow allows you to lead a mount into a place where mounts aren't normally allowed, and you do it on purpose anyway, I WILL END YOU. I don't like it when people knowingly use bugs/loopholes to get around mechanical restrictions. I'm thinking of someone in particular here, but it applies to everyone else, too.
- NOW LEAVE ME ALONE.

Hmm.. Seeing as you are working on mounts again, could we for see stealthy mounts?

... *finds a very hidden cave and hide in it for a season*

When are giant porcupine mounts with lasers coming out again?
