Suggestion:
* one splatter with blood. Shows as you are splattered with blood
* two splatters of blood, shows as you have blood on you
* three splatter of blood, you are mostly covered in blood
* four splatters of blood, you are covered in blood

Or it can all show the same thing, but you can keep getting spattered with blood.
