Some of us end up having quite sensitive information on parchment that we wouldn't want other people beyond the intended to see (Contracts of all sorts, and information on locations) but when we throw things in a barrel it stays there until it gets cleared which can be a while.

Any chance of if a person has a piece of parchment in their hand, and the other hand free (or holding firestones) they can light the parchment on fire causing it to be reduced to ashes?

I too would like this. Lots.

Maybe make this work as well if there's already fire nearby?

All sorts of possibilities.

Firestones
Already lit source (Campfire, oven, lantern, etc)
Elemancer pyromancy (Not a power, just added on as a basic perk to maybe the lowest level of it?)

Elemancers can already light campfire with basic pyromancy using the Light command. Simply make the Light <object> command work on letters.

Speaking of... I recently found a letter between Dorn and another individual while looking for a lost templar ;)

This has been suggested a few times I think. Hopefully burning letters can make it in eventually.

..that doesn't surprise me Kiyaani. The amount of times Dorn ends up at the post office..

You gesture at a parchment letter, causing a small burst of flame to surround it momentarily.
The parchment letter begins burning.
A parchment letter is quickly reduced to ash.
Roundtime: 3 seconds.

Be careful, we can't replace something you accidentally ashed.

Can I eat my parchment letters instead?
