Professions that automatically take tools from containers

I noticed some do this, some don't. Woodcarving requires that you have a tool in a container on your person. Others require that taking the tool and having it in hand as a separate action is required before starting to craft. I would like ALL crafts be consistent in this regard, so that all you need is the tool at hand somewhere on your person, before you start crafting. Thoughts?

Blacksmithing is different because you have to have two tools. What else requires that you be holding the tool?

Sorry, I missed this reply somehow. Logging for example, and skinning both require that you separately retrieve your tool before you do anything with it.

Skinning does not, actually. Logging does.

Ah, my bad. I was going by memory.
I can't name too many others, as I haven't tried a lot of crafts yet.
