Merging the best features of two great MUDs

There is another feature-rich MUD I played extensively, it is called "The Forest's Edge", and I am convinced that if the best features of The Forest's Edge were merged with Clok, we would have the best game ever made.
Some features I recommend to bring in over time to Clok:
Horses: Make it possible to purchase a saddle for your horse; the saddle gives a bit of an advantage in movement fatigue
Also, for sale I would like to see Saddlebags ! It works like a backpack for your steed.
Also, for warhorses, I would like to buy barding to armor them.
Skills: Haggling: The haggling skill will mean the character will be able to buy for slightly less and sell for slightly more in the shops and markets - the better the skill, the better the price.
Mapping skill: By having a mapping skill, the 'compass' will grow to show two rooms out, and, with higher mapping skill, show even more rooms out.
I'll post some more feature suggestions as I think of/remember them.
