Herb gathering task modification

I was thinking, I have to manually give each herb to the taskmaster. Being the ultra lazy person I am, I think it would be a good feature if you could give your taskmaster a container and he will take out the items from the container and give it back to you, sans the items he took out.

While gathering herbs for my taskmaster, I felt it was a bit tedious having to remove 9 herbs one at a time and hand them in to my taskmaster. I feel it would be more efficient to be able to give your taskmaster a container and he will simply pluck out the items.
An alternative is for the container to have exactly that amount and he'll give you back your empty container.
