Currently digging gives no skill gains for any category and takes between 9-12 seconds RT, 10 energy and takes at least 13-20ish tics of digging to clear. Is it possible to allow digging to either have shorter real life penalties, or some time of in-game gain?

* The Corvus Mine is a mess and will take forever to clear otherwise

Digging increases (or should be increasing) your mining skill slightly.

Also, certain Traders with mining mastery type skills are quite talented diggers. Recruiting one of them to help repair said mine might be beneficial.

I was definitely not getting any mining skill gain at all, but the mine is clear now

Mining skill stayed at a whopping 8.88 the whole time.
