Clearing a weapon's sheath

Could we hold a weapon in our right hand and type 'sheath clear' or somesuch in order to clear it, please?

I noticed that 'stow' target is cleared when you try to stow something and you're not wearing your stow target (which I actually rather it didn't tbh) so maybe if we remove the sheath, we can try to sheath the weapon and the sheath will be similarly cleared, maybe that method?
