Cutting vegetables or fruits.

Post by artus »

Of course we can cut strip, leather or meat. Of course we can cut fillet, any kind of fish. Of course we can cut handmade arrow shafts, any bit of it. But now you need to make pumpkin pie, and have this big orange pumpkin on hand...will you use the whole pumpkin for only one pie?

That was just an example stating that cutting slice or something similar should be neat for some big vegies or fruits, like watermellon, squash or pumpkin, potato or corn, and so on.
Getting a piece of farmed produce takes time, but using them can be done in only one shot, and is always like that. Would it be possible to make it so some particular types can be splitted for multiple use? Thank you.

Noted.

Many of the components of the cooking system are kind of hacked together and don't make a lot of sense. I'd love to make it more realistic and add some extra steps in preparation. But that's kinda low on the list right now.

As a player that cooks, I'd rather see cutting/slicing over any other extra step unless the skillgains are increased a little for each try. Kind of a reason why a lot of us don't make cookies.
