Drink Containers - Emptying them

Can we have a way to just... throw the dregs or remains of a drink away without tossing the container?

This is a frequent request and on the to-do list. In the meantime, there's always drink mug all. I know that isn't always appropriate to the situation, but it works for quickly emptying a drink container until we get something working for emptying.
