A way for individuals, in person, to sort of share their thoughts that allows them to change their respective Colors on ESP into the actual names.
Has to be done in person, make it draining to energy. Also make it so you can remove it anywhere if you ever decide to, breaking the link.
I'd say adding it as a benefit to the friend list but... I dunno.
Also, in ESP when they speak don't simply replace the color just in case you continue to want to refer to them as their color in ESP to keep things all secretive and spooky.
[ESP-GRAY - Silver-gray (Dorn)] bla bla bla I have ideas bla bla bla

Re: ESP - Color Recognition
I actually like this idea. It'd make it a bit easier to keep track of close friends, especially when they have colors that are similar to someone else's.
A scrawny alley cat stares after the dog with big green eyes.
Speaking to a scrawny alley cat, you ask, "Friend of yours?"
A scrawny alley cat hisses angrily.

Re: ESP - Color Recognition
Well the thing is, I find it a bit more realistic when I forget which color corresponds to whom. It's just like in real life, where you can remember the face, but can't figure out the name.
Re: ESP - Color Recognition
Sorry. I respectfully disagree -- there are ways, such as a parchment and quill or a Microsoft word document or a good old fassion remembering. I think that the uniqueness of the ESP system is the colors and people can change and use close to the same colors to be a bit anonymous or mysterious. I vote no on this.
Re: ESP - Color Recognition
Originally, ESP had names included by default.
Re: ESP - Color Recognition
I'd rather not start attaching names to ESP messages again - it would lose a lot of its intended feel that way. I like that you can never be certain you know who you're speaking with and who's listening.
The lore compels me!
