Holding a container at the bank when retrieving

Lemuel recently moved his regular dwelling from Mistral Lake to Shadgard, and had three dozen items in his bank he wanted to move.

He held a barrel in his right hand, it would have been nicer if the retrieved items went right into the barrel as he retrieved each one, in the same manner as when purchases are made at a shop.
