Carving Pumpkins at the Shattered Pumpkin

An orange sheet of paper cut into the form of a pumpkin dangles off a nail upon Mistral's board. A Dark-furred cat drawn on the bottom right corner sits next to a message:
Carving Pumpkins at the Shattered Pumpkin
Come down to the Shattered Pumpkin on Octum 4th. Grab a pumpkin, grab a knife. Maybe a brush of paint and carve up something to scare off the spirits of Octum from mistral. Alternatively, get smashed, and carve something they'd be too busy laughing at to bother harming anyone.
Winners will receive a division of total entry fees (5000 riln per person, subject to change) and a contribution from the hostess depending on their rank in the carvings. A selection of judges will examine each entry, and score the entries accordingly. Along with the prize money, the top three pumpkins will be displayed at the entry docks to mistral, to keep the wild nethrem of Octum back for the month. All others can choose to display their pumpkins somewhere else in the city to give citizens angry, creepy or funny looks as they charm seek.
So get yourself into the Octum mood and get ready to carve art. And ruin a perfectly good pumpkin while you are at it.
