1. It would be nice if, when you played an instrument in heavily crowded areas, you had a chance to earn small tips if you play well. Nothing big, just a few riln here and there. I feel this would make the MUD seem more realistic, and it would improve upon the idea that Mummers are purely entertainers.
2. When we implement in skillgains for instruments, I think it should be on a pass-fail basis. There would be a chance of you playing extraordinarily, well, fairly, poorly, and miserably. The odds of you playing better would increase with your skill as would be expected.

It might be a nice to include a bonus to the money, and perhaps even a GP bonus, when using storytelling with an instrument.
