Corroded Bronze Bars and the Market

After the recent patch to corroded bronze not being valued at the same rate as standard bronze, I was wondering. Does this mean that people flooding the market with corroded bronze bars will still affect the bronze demand in the market, i.e. will corroded bronze still lower the price of standard bronze in the market?

Without looking at the code, I am going to shoot an, "I think" answer from the hip. It looks like items that get lowered values are ones with matching names. Such as if there are 100 widgets on the market then the 101 widget will sell for a little less. I am not aware of prices lowering for a group of items such as all iron types or all leather types etc. So short answer is, no. I don't believe it will.

My curiosity got the better of me and I took a peak at the code. Yep, sorry. They are indeed connected. It comes down to the unique identifiers on the items, not the physical names.
