Weighed Rolls?

Post by Dorn »

Currently, we've a few abilities that weigh rolls but they don't interact on the same checks as far as I'm aware?

I've noticed Rias post an ability thought or two today, that would also weigh rolls in the general offensive or defensive sense. I'd be interested to know how, two things weighing the same roll positively, would function? For example, Weapon Specialization with an Attack Roll weighing? Would one override the other? Would they both take a turn working? Etc?

I think it'd be decided on a case-by-case basis whether they stack or not. I would think that Weapon Specialization and, say, Tactics: Ruthless (was that the one?) should stack, but then again, I'm known amongst my fellow GMs for making things a little too potent. What can I say? Tiny percentiles and negligible statistical bonuses annoy me!

"+5% increase to resisting stuns." Oh my, how exciting! </sarcasm>
The lore compels me!

Ah, so it isn't something that is hardcoded but totally adjustable depending on the way you guys wanted to implement. Rightio!
