Another Year Older, Another Year Wiser

So, seeing as it is my birthday today, it got me to wondering: Would birthdays be a big deal in the Lost Lands? Would they be celebrated at all, or would it be just another day?

I would expect that to depend on the person and the place. I would be honestly disappointed if Parren culture didn't call for at least celebration, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Viali failed to see the point in it. Though that doesn't say much for the Lost Lands itself, I would argue living a full extra year was something to celebrate in a land with multiple different types of things that want to kill you.

Also, Happy Birthday Drayla!

I imagine a lot of people in Arad celebrate birthdays or at the very least keep track of them and consider them a day of some significance for that individual. I don't have any detailed birthday-lore, as I haven't really thought about it much.

Townwise, Shadgard enjoys birthday celebrations! If you give them enough advance warning, they'll get the party tent set up and everything. Wheeee!

Well, I was considering having a birthday for Drayla sometime a couple months from now. I figured I would make the date I joined the BBS her birthday. Seems appropriate.

EDIT: Also, thank you all for the birthday wishes! It was a pretty nice day overall!
