Eternal Bleeding

I am currently In Tarueka, hidden, bleeding to death. I have been for the last... 10 minutes I think. I MIGHT be losing energy via bleeding at the same rate that I am and regaining it for being prone. None of the enemies in the area are attacking me because they can't see me. I might be here forever.
I find this hilarious.

Is that our April Fool's joke? =P

I'm Pacific time, so no. =P
edit: It occurs to me that I'm indefinitely unconscious in one of the most spore-heavy locations in the game... That seems bad to me.

Yuck. For now, until we think over it more, bleeding prevents resting energy regeneration.

Why not, if you are bleed unconscious for three minutes, you die? Several times I fade in and out managing to try to bandage myself when i phase in and sit up.

Because we've had a few instances now of people stuck in eternal unconsciousness.

For three minutes straight? Ouch. If nothing else, could you add in a submit/suicide button rather than letting some people wait until they starve or find something to kill them? <Odd things to see others tell one another to starve to get back to town form being -faster->

The new death mechanic being worked on will fix the issue of some people using death as a teleport-to-town spell.

Can I use the electrical damage spells as defibrillators on the dead?

Zzzaaap. Oh you're alive, and bleeding and...gah. Dead again. Well I tried!

Note to self: bandage then zap.
<nod. nod.>

Death works a little differently around here. Zapping a corpse with electricity wouldn't do much beyond perhaps making it do a little jig.

This could be a great source of entertainment. Just sayin'.

Having bleeding alternate between X and X+1 energy loss every tick (or randomly) should fix the problem as well.
